Saltburn, Marske, New Marske Parish Council

The Parish Council give us a generous grant to help to maintain this beautiful building which has listed status. Repairs to the building can be costly and, like any old building, it needs constant care and attention to keep it structurally sound.

East Cleveland Youth Housing Trust are our preferred contractor for building work in the Centre. Their work includes providing:

  • a network of affordable, supported accommodation for young people who are in housing need

  • local training opportunities in building in village halls, community buildings and for other voluntary sector organisations

  • opportunities for personal development and support to develop life and social skills

  • high quality and affordable housing for young people and helping them move towards independence.

  • support for young tenants

  • skills and employment for unemployed and disadvantaged young people aged 16-25 to enable them to improve their skills and experience in building trades

  • help in accessing NVQ training through Training Providers & College.

  • professional standard building services to different sectors
