Aims and Vision

The establishment of specific rehearsal rooms for hire, bookable in four hour time slots, four per day, will fulfil a clearly identified gap in the local market where drama and other such groups find it hard to find suitable space. It is also anticipated that these rooms will be suitable to stage smaller performances in an intimate setting.

The Performing Arts are a powerful tool for regeneration and personal development. SCAA shall work to maximise project activity to introduce people from disadvantaged backgrounds to the benefits of the performing arts through these facilities.

Phasing

This is planned for phase one of the project. It is expected that the pair of rehearsal rooms will start in the most basic of forms and develop over the initial five years of the project.
