53 Drama Group

Unknown 150x150 53 Drama GroupThe Saltburn ‘53 Drama Group has introduced the opportunity for local people to perform since 1953. Including drama from the simple one act play to Shakespearean productions and musicals, the ’53 produces more and more successes every year.

The ‘53 presents a pantomime in January, an annual Drama Festival in March, a Spring Production in May, and an autumn production in October. Most years will also include a Youth performance in the summer. The group uses the Saltburn Community Theatre as their rehearsal space, and hosts very well attended productions that run over a period of two weeks in the theatre.
